The ricotí lark (Chersophilus duponti) lived in arid and semi-arid zones of north Africa and Europe. Today is in extreme danger of extinction, just few live in Spain. In 2006 was named bird of the year in Spain and has become the symbol of the birds that for different reasons are in risk of extinction... it's the reason why we put his picture in small lockets, oven painted and with laser engravings.
